November Line Dancing Pop-Up

  • Waitsfield UCC Village Meeting House 4355 Main Street Waitsfield, VT 05673 (map)

Alright MRV, I hear you want to DANCE!

I’m offering more LINE DANCING lessons by popular demand. Aiming for at least 1 pop-up per month during winter, locations TBD on a monthly basis. November we will be

Where: Waitsfield UCC Village Meeting House (Ground Floor)

When: Friday, November 22nd at 6 PM

Pre-registration online preferred, or pay at the door

Here’s what to expect & bring:

  • Attire:

    • comfy shoes for dancing (boots are fun but not required)

    • layers—not sure what the temp will be like that day, but it’s always good to have the ability to thermoregulate in the moment!

  • Lessons:

    • ~ 1 hr reviewing/teaching different line dances at multiple entry levels—see tutorial videos below to review “Muddy Muddy” and “Wagon Wheel” from October’s lesson

    • After lessons I’ll play music and folks will get a chance to practice the dances we learned at different tempos .

  • Feel free to bring snacks and NON ALCOHOLIC beverages (house rules for the Meeting House). I’ll provide some light snacks and water.

  • Seating available when folks want to sit out anything or need a rest between dances

This is a tutorial for the first dance we learned, called “Muddy Muddy” or “Muddy Spider,” and also “Itsy Bitsy Spider Dance.” The song they use is different than the one I did, but the steps are the same!

We danced “Muddy Spider” to a different song: “There’s Your Trouble” by the Chicks

Here’s the second dance we learned, “Rockin’ the Wagon Wheel”
