The annual CHIMERA Art Co-Lab launched the summer of 2022 as the inaugural artistic residency in the newly-restored Stowell Barn (c.1798). Surrounded by the beautiful dual-tone timber frame that joins old and new lumber, choreographers came together to experiment with their craft and collaborate on new work together. The CHIMERA Art Co-Lab was established as an embodiment of hybridization–from the creative venue, to the artistic process and product. At the time of its inception, returning to in-person creation and performance seemed an unrealizable dream; the CHIMERA Art Co-Lab continues annually as a way to celebrate bringing together artistic bodies and minds in a creative space. -
Our last performance was the evening of Saturday, July 20th 2024 with Phantom Theater @ Edgcomb Barn
